Insect Conference for Kids |
| Description: |
For children 9-12 years old. Are your children fascinated with butterflies, beetles, and other insects? Then this day is for them. The morning will include fun speakers and displays. Children will have the opportunity to give their own 5-minute insect presentation. (Parents are welcome to attend this portion of the conference.) Following a sack lunch, each child will participate in two afternoon workshops of their choice such as photographing insects, insect origami, insect classification, pollination, build your own butterfly net, making butterfly feeders and more. Pre-registration and pre-payment required, $35/child (includes registration, snacks, t-shirt and lunch. |
