Anne has opened for some of the best in music: Richard Thompson, INXS, Dave Alvin, Heart, and Lucinda Williams, just to name a few. Well known in her home of Australia, Americans are starting to discover this amazing musician and her debut CD, Roll. Full of elements of blues, rock, and folk, Roll is a diverse mix of amazing songwriting and guitar playing. It is only appropriate she makes her Iowa headlining debut at the M-Shop. What better way to start a season than with an amazing new talent? |

Cross Canadian Ragweed first played the M-Shop in 2002. Since then, they have released their second studio disc, Soul Gravy, which entered the Billboard charts at #5. The boys from Oklahoma play some good old-fashioned country rock, and get a crowd to their feet. Help us welcome them back to the Shop, and party early this week!

Doug Ray, otherwise known as Toothpick, has released his new disc, Time Travelin' Couch. In a crowded field of singer/songwriters, Toothpick separates himself from the pack by infusing his original style of rap and freestyle with traditional story telling. Time Travelin' Couch blends old school hip-hop, simple melodies and driving beats. This will be Toothpick’s first visit to the M-Shop. Help us make him feel welcome! |
