Event: From the Jayhawks: Mark Olson & Gary Louris: Together Again
Description: $17 students, $20 public It has been almost 10 years since Mark Olson and Gary Louris have played together. They first joined forces in 1985 in the original lineup of The Jayhawks. They are together again, and hitting the road for some shows. This will be the first of those shows. We are honored to have one of the premiere alternative country bands in the world back on our stage. Their harmonies are amazing, and the songs they have crafted over the years are known by many. Do not miss this show. It is one we will all be talking about for years to come. On sale to students THURSDAY, JANUARY 13, and the public Tuesday, January 18, 2005.

Event: Rogue Wave-
Description: $7 students, $9 public Rogue Wave's Out of the Shadow was one of the best albums that slipped under people's radar in 2003. Now becoming an indie pop sensation akin to The Pixies and Guided By Voices, they are taking their dynamic presence to the stage. Blending wistful vocals over and under blankets of sonic textures, Rogue Wave never play the same way twice, switching tones up with a musical chairs game of instrumentation. Come see them make their Maintenance Shop debut.

Now comes his new gem, Lookin' For Love, with his wife Vicki joining him on vocals. The new disc is a treat, as only Joe could produce. Event: OK Go
Description: $10 students, $12 public Come see OK Go, Chicago's power-pop kings, as they will make their M-Shop debut. Their songs are cleverly put together -- part indie rock, part stadium rock, part straight up pop with the occasional whiff of the Pixies or The Cars or Elliott Smith. They're like a boy band that got seduced by Queen and wound up in college instead of Orlando. Known for their phenominal live performances, OK Go will blow you away.

Event: Split Lip Rayfield
Description: $7 students, $9 public You should have seen this one coming. Split Lip Rayfield played the Shop a few years back. We have not stopped talking about them since. The quartet from Wichita is back with their new release, Should Have Seen It Coming. Equal parts bluesgrass, western, honky-tonk, and garage rock, these guys make a show a blast. Mix the guitar, banjo, and the one-string gas tank bass (yes, you read that correctly) and you have a show that needs to be experienced. Trust us. It is an experience
